ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer oversees the development of manufacturing processes and procedures. Specific areas of focus include working with manufacturing, quality, and product engineering to achieve continuous product and process improvements.
- Develop the appropriate fixtures and work holdings for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing. Create and maintain manufacturing routings and standardized work instructions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop timely solutions for issues arising on current product and in the production processes.
- Facilitate process mapping exercises to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization
- Remove waste utilizing lean principals
