ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Buyer will identify external material needs of the organization, find service providers who can supply the goods, negotiate for prices and arrange for the purchase and delivery of the goods.
- Identify purchasing needs for assigned suppliers and product lines
- Conduct the daily responsibilities of a purchasing agent for both domestic and international purchases
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding rates and provided services
- Conduct cost management to identify areas or potential cost reduction
- Perform routine supplier reviews, evaluating supplier performance and compliance

Experience

Minimum of 5 years purchasing experience
Contracts

College Degree
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent experience
